Dr. Sagar Raiya had been a state topper in pre-medical entrance in Maharashtra, completed his MBBS and MD Pulmonary Medicine from prestigious institute Seth G S Medical College & K E M Hospital, Mumbai under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. He pursued further training and awarded Diplomate of National Board (DNB) Respiratory medicine from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
Dr Raiya’s interest in Interventional Pulmonology led him to a Fellowship programme in Interventional Pulmonology & Thoracic oncology under mentorship of Dr Rajiv Goyal at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute Delhi, accredited by Indian Association for Bronchology (IAB) and Indian Medical Association (IMA).

• Dr. Sagar Raiya has published scientific publications in PubMed indexed journals
• He has presented abstracts of his research at national and international meetings like NAPCON, BRONCOCON and European Respiratory Society Conference, Italy (2017),and has received awards for his research presentations.
• He has been awarded European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine by European respiratory Society (ERS) at Milan, Italy 2017. Dr. Raiya’s research also awarded him Indian Chest Society Travel Grant for ERS, Italy (2017)
